Exhibition of Paitings about Portuguese-Language Writers

“This exhibition celebrates Lusophony through painting: each artwork is born from words written by authors from Portuguese-speaking countries, transformed into color, rhythm, and gesture.

Macau, a territory where Portuguese encounters new sonorities, becomes the ideal setting for this dialogue. Here, voices such as Henrique de Senna Fernandes, Deolinda da Conceição, and José dos Santos Ferreira (Adé) coexist, inspiring several of the pieces on display.

Amid literary echoes and encounters of identity, these paintings invite visitors to feel the strength of a language that travels, adapts, and remains alive in every corner of the Lusophone world,” wrote Bruno Gaspar.

The exhibition will open on December 4th at 6:30 PM at the Glass House (Tap Seac), followed by two workshops on Writing in the Visual Arts, taking place on December 6th and 7th at CPM Arts and Crafts School, with a limit of 12 participants.
